Description: Alcatel OmniSwitch Metro Ethernet service MIB for managing E-Line and E-LAN service definitions and provider VLANs.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is ALCATEL-IND1-E-SERVICE-MIB?
ALCATEL-IND1-E-SERVICE-MIB is an Alcatel-Lucent proprietary MIB (Industrial Division 1, OmniSwitch product line) configuring E-Service (Metro Ethernet Service, SAP/UNI profile) parameters. Its objects cover a global E-Service mode, a SAP-profile table (customer-VLAN treatment, replacement C-VLAN, priority-map mode, fixed priority, ingress/egress bandwidth, bandwidth-share, row status), and a UNI-profile table (STP BPDU/802.1x/802.1AB/802.3ad/GVRP/AMAP/MVRP treatment per profile, row status). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm how customer VLAN tagging and control-protocol traffic are treated at a Metro Ethernet service boundary. It is deployed on Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch equipment running E-Service. Engineers can download the ALCATEL-IND1-E-SERVICE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ALCATEL-IND1-E-SERVICE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch equipment (E-Service)
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks alaEServiceSapProfileCVLANTreatment to confirm customer VLAN tags are handled correctly at a Metro Ethernet SAP on an Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch.
What Can Be Monitored
- SAP/UNI E-Service profile configuration
