Category: Device Management, Vendor: A10 Networks

Description: Root enterprise MIB for all A10 Networks products, defining the base OID hierarchy and common object definitions shared across A10 product-specific MIBs.

IPNetwork Monitor uses several OIDs from this MIB in network discovery and polling the applicable devices. Start monitoring A10-COMMON-MIB with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor.

What Is A10-COMMON-MIB?

A10-COMMON-MIB is the root private-enterprise MIB module for A10 Networks, the vendor known for Thunder and AX Series application delivery controllers and load balancers. Rather than exposing runtime data itself, it establishes the base OID arborescence and shared object/type definitions that all other A10 product-specific MIBs (for ADC, firewall, and CGN modules) build upon. As a foundational/common module it has no monitorable status objects of its own, so it does not directly report uptime, temperature, CPU load, or fault counters. Because every other A10 MIB imports from this module, it is a hard structural dependency for any SNMP tooling targeting A10 gear rather than a standalone monitoring source. It is typically loaded first by an NMS or MIB compiler as a prerequisite before loading the functional A10 MIBs that reference it. Engineers can download the A10-COMMON-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in A10-COMMON-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • A10 Networks Thunder/AX Series application delivery controllers

Monitoring Examples

No sample objects were provided because this module defines only the top-level enterprise OID branch and common textual conventions, not runtime data instances. It functions purely as an include/dependency file that other A10 MIBs (e.g. for ADC or firewall features) reference for their object identifiers. There is no realistic polling scenario against this MIB alone; monitoring value comes from the downstream MIBs that depend on it.
