Com21 MIBs

Com21 made the ComController HCX, an early (pre-DOCSIS) cable modem termination system, and every module here is a card- or function-specific piece of that one legacy headend chassis: HCXRX/HCXTX for the downstream receive and upstream transmit channel cards, HCXOC3 for its OC-3 ATM backhaul uplink, HCXETH for the headend's Ethernet side and per-subscriber traffic counters, and HCXSTU/HCXSTUPRXY for the subscriber terminal units (early cable modems) it manages. Recurring subject matter is squarely hardware/link health for a cable headend - per-card RF signal levels, AAL5 CRC errors on subscriber links, OC-3 uplink status, and chassis-wide topology/alarm state - rather than any modern DOCSIS QoS or provisioning model. This is legacy equipment: a couple of module descriptions in this batch were misfiled against a different sibling MIB in Com21's own source text, so if you're still running HCX gear, confirm object names against your own compiled MIB rather than this database's description alone. Come here only if you're maintaining a surviving Com21 ComController HCX cable headend - this is a discontinued platform, and its MIB family is otherwise chiefly of historical interest.
