What Is ZhoneAPON-MIB?

ZhoneAPON-MIB is a Zhone Technologies, Inc. proprietary MIB (the Zhone ATM-PON MIB) configuring OLT-side ATM-over-PON parameters. Its OLT-configuration table, keyed by port, records auto-learn enable, cell-scrambling, BIP-8, HEC (Header Error Control) enable and RX-bypass, CRC-on-receive, overhead size, delimiter pattern/size, CDR (Clock/Data Recovery) pattern/location/active-high flag, CPE/LCD (Loss of Cell Delineation) limits and alpha/delta parameters, non-matching-VPI discard, UTOPIA discard, sync-bytes clock divisor, TX sync bytes, loopback, max PON distance, and a line-status-change trap enable. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator tune ATM-PON physical-layer parameters (cell delineation thresholds, max distance) on a Zhone OLT. It is deployed on Zhone Technologies ATM-PON OLT platforms. Engineers can download the ZhoneAPON-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZhoneAPON-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
