Description: The MLD work mode in this MVLAN. The meanings of the values are: snooping(1) - transparently forward MLD packet, snooping is defined in RFC 4541 and TR-101. spr(2) - transparently forward MLD general query and suppress MLD report/leave for existing group membership, SPR(Snooping with Proxy Reporting) is defined in TR-101. proxy(3) - act as a host on the V interface and act as a router on the U interface, proxy is defined in RFC4605. router(4) - act as a terminal on the V interface and act as a router on the U interface, router is defined in TR-101.

What is zxAnMldMVlanMldWorkMode?

This sets how the device's MLD handling behaves within an MVLAN: snooping (transparently forwards MLD per RFC 4541/TR-101), spr (forwards general queries but suppresses redundant reports per TR-101's Snooping with Proxy Reporting), proxy (acts as a host toward the network and a router toward subscribers, per RFC 4605, and is the default), or router (acts as a full router toward subscribers per TR-101). An admin picks proxy (the default) on most GPON access deployments so the OLT/ONU consolidates subscriber joins before passing a single aggregated request upstream, reducing signaling load on the core network.
