What Is ZTE-AN-TC-MIB?
ZTE-AN-TC-MIB is a textual-conventions MIB from ZTE Corporation that defines shared data types and enumerations used across ZTE's Access Node (AN) product MIB family, which covers ZTE's broadband access and DSLAM/OLT-style equipment. As a TC-only module it defines no managed objects itself and exposes no directly monitorable data; its purpose is to standardize types (such as status enumerations or index conventions) reused by the actual ZTE-AN operational MIBs. It has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software status on its own, but it underpins the conventions used by ZTE access-node MIBs that do report card, port, and alarm status. It has an explicit dependency relationship with the broader ZTE-AN MIB suite that imports these conventions. Searching for a ZTE-AN-TC-MIB OID in isolation will turn up only type definitions and registration nodes, not object instances carrying live values. It is used in fixed broadband access networks wherever ZTE access nodes (DSLAM/OLT/MSAN platforms) are SNMP-managed.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZTE-AN-TC-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- ZTE access node (DSLAM/OLT/MSAN platforms)
Monitoring Examples
This module defines only textual conventions for ZTE access-node concepts and contains no scalars or tables of its own, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe directly. Its conventions are consumed by other ZTE-AN MIBs to type objects such as card/port status or alarm severity on ZTE access-node equipment.

RFC description
ZTE Access Node textual conventions for access network management MIBs.
Start monitoring ZTE access node (DSLAM/OLT/MSAN platforms), shared textual-convention support (no runtime data) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
