Description: The total available ATM connections for a particular shelf/slot.
This number is hardware dependent.
Whenever a VPI is allocated for a particular shelf/slot, the number of connections allocated for that VPI is subtracted from the total available and is returned in this value.
What is zhoneAtmConnectionsAvailable?
Reports the total ATM connections still available on a given shelf/slot; this hardware-dependent figure shrinks each time a VPI is allocated by the number of connections that VPI consumes. An admin checks this before provisioning a new VPI to confirm the slot has enough remaining connection capacity.
