latNodeZero

Module: XYPLEX-LAT-MIB

OID (symbolic): XYPLEX-LAT-MIB::latNodeZero

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.3.26.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Control to zero counters kept for the node. In response to a get-request or get-next-request, the agent always returns 'ready' for this value. Setting the value to 'ready' has no effect. Setting it to 'execute' causes all the system's counters to be zeroed. Corresponds to the ZERO NODE command.

What is latNodeZero?

A control object to zero out the counters kept for this node; get operations always return ready(1), and setting it to execute(2) zeros all the system's counters (not just this node's), corresponding to the ZERO NODE command. An admin uses this to get a clean baseline before starting a troubleshooting session, keeping in mind the reset is system-wide despite being exposed per node.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.3.26.1.9
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> XYPLEX-LAT-MIB::latNodeZero

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.3.26.1.9.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> XYPLEX-LAT-MIB::latNodeZero.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.3.26.1.9.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> latNodeZero.1
