Module: XEROX-JOB-MONITORING-MIB

OID (symbolic): XEROX-JOB-MONITORING-MIB::xcmJobXStateReasons

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.253.8.59.6.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: XcmJMJobXStateReasons

Access: read-only

Description: This object is bit-encoded, so that multiple reasons can occur at once. Each bit corresponds to a Xerox extension OID for the same reason. See textual conventions.

ISO DPA: Job-state-reasons (extended with Xerox OIDs) This attribute identifies the reason or reasons that the job is in the held, [processing,] terminating, retained, or completed state. The server shall indicate the particular reason(s) by setting the value of the job-state-reasons attribute. When the job is not in any of these states, the server shall set the value of the job-state-reasons attribute to the empty set.

See the Xerox Job Model Specification for the specification of which reasons can be used in which job states.

What is xcmJobXStateReasons?

This read-only bit-encoded object extends xcmJobStateReasons with an additional set of Xerox-specific reason codes for why a job is held, terminating, retained, or completed, defined in the Xerox Job Model Specification. An admin consults this alongside the standard xcmJobStateReasons when the generic ISO DPA reasons don't fully explain a Xerox device's job status.
