Description: For the MIB, the value of the xcmDocOctetCount is used for both scan-to-file and file-to-print jobs. In the case of scan-to-file jobs, the value starts at 0 and counts the number of octets scanned.
ISO DPA: Octet-count This attribute specifies the size of the document in octets.
What is xcmDocOctetCount?
This read-only Cardinal32 reports the size of the document in octets; for scan-to-file jobs it counts up from 0 as octets are scanned. An admin monitors this on an in-progress scan job to gauge how much data has been captured so far, or on a print job to confirm the expected document size arrived at the device.
