Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is WWP-SYSTEM-CONFIG-APPS-MIB?

WWP-SYSTEM-CONFIG-APPS-MIB is a World Wide Packets, Inc (later Ciena) proprietary MIB managing primary/backup configuration files and application images on WWP carrier Ethernet platforms. Its objects cover running-applications info, an apps-swap-activate action, an apps table (image, name), a backup-notification-enabled flag, a configuration table (index, name), boot-config name, save-config name, and a load-backup-app notification. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm which application image and configuration file are active/backup and get alerted when a backup image is loaded on a WWP (Ciena) platform. It is deployed on World Wide Packets (Ciena) carrier Ethernet platforms. Engineers can download the WWP-SYSTEM-CONFIG-APPS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in WWP-SYSTEM-CONFIG-APPS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
