Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is WS-SW-RADIUS-MIB?

WS-SW-RADIUS-MIB is a Symbol Technologies, Inc. (WLAN switch line, later Motorola/Zebra) proprietary MIB configuring RADIUS server and LDAP-backed authentication services on a wireless switch. Its objects cover a save-status action, server-enable flag, CA/server trust points, auth type, data source, proxy retry count/timeout, CRL setting, LDAP group-verification flag, save-users flag, LDAP-agent retry timeout, server dead-period, and an LDAP server table (type, IP/port, login/password attribute, bind DN/password, base DN, group attribute/filter). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm RADIUS/LDAP authentication backend settings on a Symbol (Motorola/Zebra) wireless switch. It is deployed on Symbol Technologies (Motorola/Zebra) wireless switches. Engineers can download the WS-SW-RADIUS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in WS-SW-RADIUS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Symbol Technologies (Motorola/Zebra) wireless switches

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks wsSwRadiusLdapServerIp and wsSwRadiusLdapBaseDistinguishedName to confirm the LDAP authentication backend configuration on a Symbol wireless switch.
