usdAcctngSelectionMaxIfStackLevels

Module: Unisphere-Data-ACCOUNTING-MIB

OID (symbolic): Unisphere-Data-ACCOUNTING-MIB::usdAcctngSelectionMaxIfStackLevels

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.24.1.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Indicates the maximum number of levels in the ifStack table to be returned when using the ifStack accounting schema. This object is ignored if acctngSelectionSubtree is not set to usdAcctngSelectionSchemaIfStack. When this object is zero, the entire stack above the starting point(s) given will be returned. When this object is set to 1, only ifIndexes stacked above the starting point(s) given will be returned.

What is usdAcctngSelectionMaxIfStackLevels?

This value limits how many levels of the ifStack table are returned when using the ifStack accounting schema, with 0 (the default) meaning the entire stack above the given starting points is returned, and this object is ignored unless the ifStack schema is in use. An admin lowers this to 1 to limit collection to just the interfaces directly stacked above a starting point, avoiding an overly deep and noisy accounting dataset on complex interface stacks. Setting usdAcctngSelectionMaxIfStackLevels to 2, for instance, returns only the first two layers of stacked interfaces above the configured starting point.
