Description: Determines which route to be entered in the NE routing table when there are multiple identical routes discovered through different routing protocols. Lower values have higher precedence.
Note: If a value of 255 is entered, the route will NOT be installed in the routing table. A value of 255 is used to indicate an Unknown route.

Sets the metric used to choose which static route wins when multiple identical routes exist across routing protocols; lower values take precedence, and a value of 255 marks the route as an 'unknown' route that is deliberately not installed in the routing table.
