Module: TP5000E
OID (symbolic): TP5000E::tp5000eIntraCommIPSet
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9070.1.2.5.7.1.3.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TP5000INTRAIPSET
Access: read-write
Description: Intra-communication IP set between IMC, IOCs and Expansion shelves. Value can be class A (1), B (2), C (3). Their ranges are: A: IP address range 10.0.250.8 to 10.0.250.47 B: IP address range 172.16.250.8 to 172.16.250.47, C: IP address range 192.168.250.8 to 192.168.250.47
The selected address set cannot be used for external Ethernet ports in this TP5000 system. Therefore, choose a set that does not conflict with the external network configuration.
After the value is changed, IMC and IOC or expansion shelves will establish a new connection in 1 to 2 minutes.
What is tp5000eIntraCommIPSet?
tp5000eIntraCommIPSet picks which private IP address range (Class A: 10.0.250.8-47, Class B: 172.16.250.8-47, or Class C: 192.168.250.8-47) the IMC, IOC cards, and expansion shelves use to talk to each other internally; an admin must pick a range that doesn't overlap the external management network, and changing it causes a brief 1-2 minute reconnection between the internal modules.
