What is tmnxPortFCStatsIngDroOutProfOcts?
This OID counts the total bytes discarded at the input because they exceeded the contracted bandwidth rate and buffer space was exhausted. It measures how much traffic got dropped due to congestion or rate limiting. A network engineer monitors this to determine if the contracted bandwidth for a customer is sufficient or if they need to upgrade.
