Description:
tmnxBundleShortSequence command specifies that the MLPPP bundle should use short (12 bit) sequence numbers. Instead of the standard long (24 bits) sequence number. This object is only applicable to tmnxBundleType value of mlppp.
What is tmnxBundleShortSequence?
This object controls whether an MLPPP (Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol) bundle uses 12-bit sequence numbers instead of the standard 24-bit sequence numbers. When enabled, it reduces overhead in protocol headers for bundle links that carry MLPPP traffic.
