This value specifies the MAC address used as the target for a Two-Way-Delay Test (TWDT); setting it triggers the test, and it reverts to its default once the test completes. An admin sets this to the remote MEP's MAC address to measure round-trip latency to that specific peer, which doesn't require clock synchronization the way a one-way delay test does. It's the more commonly used delay test of the two since it avoids the need for synchronized clocks between the two ends.
