What is tmnxDot1agCfmMepEthTestPattern?
This value specifies the data content of Eth-test frames: all-zeros or all-ones patterns (with or without CRC), or a pseudo-random bit sequence (with or without CRC); it's only meaningful when tmnxDot1agCfmMepEthTestEnable is true. An admin selects a pattern based on what kind of bit errors the test needs to be sensitive to, with pseudo-random patterns generally exercising the link more thoroughly than fixed all-zero or all-one patterns. A CRC-enabled pattern lets the receiving MEP directly report CRC failures via tmnxDot1agCfmMepCrcFailures, which a non-CRC pattern can't provide.
