Description:
The value of the object tIPFilterParamsSrcIpPrefixList specifies the ip-prefix-list to be used as match criterion for the source ip address.
If the value of this object is empty then the values of the objects tIPFilterParamsSourceIpAddr and tIPFilterParamsSourceIpMask will be used as src-ip match criterion.
The value specified for this object must correspond to a prefix-list defined in tFilterPrefixListTable.
When set to a non zero value, the value of the objects tIPFilterParamsSourceIpAddr and tIPFilterParamsSourceIpMask will set to their default values.
The value of this object will be set to its default value by the system if a new (non default) value is provided for any of the objects tIPFilterParamsSourceIpAddr or tIPFilterParamsSourceIpMask.
An attempt to set tIPFilterParamsSrcIpPrefixList to a non-default value in combination with setting any of tIPFilterParamsSourceIpAddr or tIPFilterParamsSourceIpMask to (a) non-default value(s) is rejected by the system.
Also, setting both tIPFilterParamsSrcIpPrefixList and tIPFilterParamsDstIpPrefixList to non-default values is rejected by the system
What is tIPFilterParamsSrcIpPrefixList?
This object references a named IP prefix list to use as the match criterion for source IP addresses in packet filtering rules. An operator would configure this to use a predefined prefix list instead of individual IP address and mask combinations, simplifying management of complex filtering policies. If empty, the filter falls back to using explicitly configured source IP address and mask values.
