Description: The tFilterSubInsFltrEntryDropped notification is generated when a request to insert a filter entry was not successful.

What is tFilterSubInsFltrEntryDropped?

This alert fires when the system rejects a request to add a new packet filter rule. It signals policy table is full or the rule was invalid. An administrator receives this when trying to add firewall rules and must either delete old rules or upgrade memory.
