Category: Storage and Host Resources
Description: Manages ServerNet PCI bus adapter configuration, interconnect topology, and data transfer status.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is ServerNetPCI-MIB?
ServerNetPCI-MIB is a legacy HP (NonStop/ServerNet heritage, enterprise OID 169) proprietary MIB reporting ServerNet PCI adapter inventory and status. Its objects cover MIB major/minor revision and condition, poll interval, status/X-port/Y-port/timeout-error trap enables, adapter count, and an adapter table (index, product model/version/vendor, bus slot, ServerNet ID(s), MTU, status, admin status, and BTE/AVT availability and gauge values). As a hardware-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm ServerNet PCI adapter status and BTE/AVT resource availability on HP NonStop ServerNet infrastructure. It is deployed on HP NonStop ServerNet PCI adapter equipment. Engineers can download the ServerNetPCI-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ServerNetPCI-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- HP NonStop ServerNet PCI adapter equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks snetAdaptrStatus and snetAdaptrBTEAvail to confirm ServerNet PCI adapter health and resource availability on HP NonStop infrastructure.
What Can Be Monitored

RFC description
Tandem ServerNet PCI adapter management including link statistics, error counters, and adapter configuration across multiple ports.
Start monitoring HP NonStop ServerNet PCI adapter equipment (adapter status/BTE-AVT resource availability) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
