All MIBs › SVRNTCLU-MIB

Category: Cloud and Virtualization, High Availability and Clustering, Vendor-Specific Device Management

Description: Manages Windows NT server cluster configuration, node state, and cluster resource groups.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SVRNTCLU-MIB?

SVRNTCLU-MIB is a Symantec (enterprise OID 36, Veritas Cluster Server heritage) proprietary MIB reporting cluster resource-group and resource-object status. Its objects cover MIB major/minor revision, an alias, a group table (index, name, comment, online flag, failed-over flag, policy, reevaluate flag, member list, object list), and an object table (index, name, comment, type, drives, IP address). As a status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which cluster resource group is currently online/failed-over and its member resources' details. It is deployed on Symantec (Veritas) cluster server platforms. Engineers can download the SVRNTCLU-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SVRNTCLU-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Symantec (Veritas) cluster server platforms

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks ntcExGroupOnLine and ntcExGroupFailedOver to confirm which node is currently hosting a cluster resource group on a Symantec (Veritas) cluster server.

What Can Be Monitored

  • cluster resource-group online/failover status
