What Is SS7I-MIB?

SS7I-MIB is a vendor-specific MIB (from a company identified as usr/nas in its object tree, likely a signaling gateway product) covering SS7-over-IP signaling interface configuration. It exposes per-interface configuration including IP address, netmask, default and secondary gateway addresses/ports, protocol selection, and gateway connection start method. Its monitoring value is mainly configuration/status of the signaling transport: confirming ss7iCfgIpAddr, ss7iCfgGwIpAddr, and ss7iCfgSecGwIpAddr are correctly set is essential to verify SS7 signaling traffic can reach its intended gateway, and a misconfigured or unreachable primary/secondary gateway would cause signaling link failures.
