What Is SENSATRONICS-ITTM?

SENSATRONICS-ITTM is a vendor-specific SNMP module for Sensatronics' ITTM networked temperature/thermal monitor, a small environmental sensor appliance used in data centers, comms closets, and equipment rooms. It exposes unit identification/inventory objects (unitName, unitModel, unitManufacturer, unitFirmware, unitSerial), network configuration (netMode, netIP, netNM, netGW), and sensor/configuration data (sensorInfo, configData). Its core purpose is environmental hardware monitoring: it reports temperature sensor readings and thresholds along with firmware version (unitFirmware, unitFWReleaseDate) so an admin can confirm the monitoring unit itself is running current firmware and correctly configured on the network while tracking the environment it watches. As a small, self-contained enterprise MIB it has no significant dependency on other standard MIBs. It is typically deployed as a standalone environmental sensor appliance monitoring rack/room temperature to alert staff to cooling failures or overheating, making SENSATRONICS-ITTM SNMP monitoring a standard part of data-center environmental checks.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SENSATRONICS-ITTM. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. Monitoring Examples

An admin would poll sensorInfo (and the underlying threshold/reading objects it groups) alongside unitConfig to get current temperature and alarm-threshold state for the unit, catching a cooling failure before equipment overheats. unitFirmware and unitFWReleaseDate let the admin verify the device is running a current firmware build across a fleet of ITTM sensors. netIP/netNM/netGW confirm the unit's IP configuration matches expectations, which matters since these are often deployed on isolated management VLANs.
