This value specifies the destination host's Layer 2 MAC address for an OAM ping test on a (H)VPLS network, replacing the address-type/target-address pair used in the standard ping control table. It must be set before the corresponding ping control entry is transitioned to active via pingCtlRowStatus, since the device needs a valid target MAC address to send the OAM loopback frame to across the VPLS instance. For example, an admin verifying reachability to a remote PE's attachment circuit over an HVPLS mesh would set rsPingHVplsCtlTgtAddress to that circuit's MAC address before starting the test.
