phivCircuitExecHelloTimer

Module: RFC1289-phivMIB

OID (symbolic): RFC1289-phivMIB::phivCircuitExecHelloTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.6.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This value determines the frequency of Routing Hello messages sent to the adjacent node on the circuit.

What is phivCircuitExecHelloTimer?

This sets, in seconds, how often Routing sends Hello messages to the node adjacent on this circuit, used to detect adjacency loss. Admins lower it to detect a failed neighbor faster, at the cost of more Hello traffic on the circuit.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.6.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1289-phivMIB::phivCircuitExecHelloTimer

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.6.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1289-phivMIB::phivCircuitExecHelloTimer.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.18.6.1.1.10.1 i <value>
