Description: Registers product OIDs for Motorola BSR CMTS and broadband services router hardware product lines.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is RDN-PRODUCTS-MIB?
RDN-PRODUCTS-MIB is a Motorola proprietary MIB (extending RDN-DEFINITIONS-MIB) defining sysObjectID product identifiers for Motorola RDN-family (DOCSIS cable) hardware platforms. It carries no data objects of its own — as a structural registration MIB it exists so a device's sysObjectID can be matched against a specific Motorola hardware model. It underlies the Motorola RDN-family cable networking product line. Engineers can download the RDN-PRODUCTS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RDN-PRODUCTS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Motorola RDN-family cable networking products
Monitoring Examples
A management station reads a device's sysObjectID and matches it against RDN-PRODUCTS-MIB's registry to identify the exact Motorola RDN-family hardware model.
