rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime

Module: RDN-CMTS-MIB

OID (symbolic): RDN-CMTS-MIB::rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4981.2.4.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeStamp

Access: read-only

Description: The value of sysUpTime when the BSR last began a Remote Query polling cycle, to read values for the rdnRQueryCmtsCmStatusTable from registered cable modems. This object has an initial value of zero, if no polls have been sent. Once that it has been set to a nonzero value, it is never reset to zero again for any reason, unless the BSR reboots.

If rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime is greater than rdnRQueryLastPollStopTime, it means that a new polling cycle is in progress.

What is rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime?

Read-only TimeStamp (sysUpTime value) recording when the CMTS last began a Remote Query polling cycle to refresh the rdnRQueryCmtsCmStatusTable from registered modems; it starts at zero and, once set, is never reset except on a CMTS reboot. Admins compare this against rdnRQueryLastPollStopTime; a start time newer than the stop time means a polling cycle is currently in progress.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RDN-CMTS-MIB::rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4981.2.4.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RDN-CMTS-MIB::rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rdnRQueryLastPollStartTime.1
