qbDot3ConfigEnetAdminMode
Module: QB-ETHERNET-MIB
OID (symbolic): QB-ETHERNET-MIB::qbDot3ConfigEnetAdminMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4323.2.5.1.2.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OBJECT IDENTIFIER
Access: read-write
Description: This object identifies the default administrative baseband MAU type, to be used in conjunction with the operational MAU type denoted by ifMauType. For a detailed description see ifMauDefaultType in RFC2668.
What is qbDot3ConfigEnetAdminMode?
This read-write OBJECT IDENTIFIER identifies the default administrative baseband MAU type to be used together with the operational MAU type reported by ifMauType, per the DESCRIPTION which references ifMauDefaultType from RFC 2668. Admins set this OID to specify which Ethernet medium/speed the port should default to administratively, analogous to the standard MAU default-type object. For example, an admin would set qbDot3ConfigEnetAdminMode to the OID representing 100BASE-TX full duplex to force that MAU type as the administrative default.
