pwVcMplsOutboundTunnelLclLSR

Module: PW-MPLS-DRAFT06-MIB

OID (symbolic): PW-MPLS-DRAFT06-MIB::pwVcMplsOutboundTunnelLclLSR

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.99999.53.0.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: MplsLsrIdentifier

Access: read-write

Description: This object is applicable if pwVcMplsMplsType mplsTe(0) bit is set, and MUST return a value of all zeros otherwise. It is part of set of indexes for outbound tunnel. The operator set this object to represent the desired tunnel head-end toward the peer for carrying the PW traffic.

What is pwVcMplsOutboundTunnelLclLSR?

This read-write MplsLsrIdentifier is applicable only when the mplsTe(0) bit is set in pwVcMplsMplsType (otherwise all zeros); as part of the outbound tunnel's index set, the operator sets it to represent the desired local LSR identifier for the tunnel head-end carrying the PW. An admin configures this alongside the tunnel index and peer LSR ID to fully specify which MPLS-TE tunnel head-end binds to this PW. For example, this would hold the local router's LSR ID, such as 192.0.2.1, when pinning the PW to a specific TE tunnel.
