pwVcMplsOutboundLsrXcIndex

Module: PW-MPLS-DRAFT06-MIB

OID (symbolic): PW-MPLS-DRAFT06-MIB::pwVcMplsOutboundLsrXcIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.99999.53.0.1.2.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: MplsIndexType

Access: read-write

Description: This object is applicable if pwVcMplsMplsType mplsNonTe(1) bit is set, and MUST return a value of zero otherwise. If the outer tunnel is signaled, the object is read-only and indicate the XC index in the MPLS-LSR-STD-MIB of the outer tunnel toward the peer. Otherwise (tunnel is set-up manually) the operator define the XC index of the manually created outer tunnel through this object.

What is pwVcMplsOutboundLsrXcIndex?

This read-write MplsIndexType is applicable only when the mplsNonTe(1) bit is set in pwVcMplsMplsType (otherwise it must read zero); it either reports the XC index of a signaled outer tunnel in the MPLS-LSR-STD-MIB, or lets the operator define that XC index for a manually created tunnel. An admin sets this when manually cross-connecting a PW to a specific non-TE MPLS outer tunnel identified by its LSR cross-connect index. For example, an admin configures this to XC index 42 to bind the PW to a manually established LDP tunnel with that index.
