What Is PRVT-PROTO-PRIORITY-MIB?
PRVT-PROTO-PRIORITY-MIB is a BATM Advanced Communication proprietary MIB managing DSCP remarking and ARP-to-forwarding-class priority mapping on BATM/Telco Systems carrier Ethernet switches. Its DSCP-remarking table, keyed by DSCP value, records the forwarding class that value is remapped to, alongside a separate object mapping ARP traffic priority to a forwarding class. As a configuration/QoS MIB it lets an administrator confirm DSCP-to-forwarding-class mappings match the intended QoS policy, particularly for control-plane traffic like ARP. It is deployed on BATM/Telco Systems carrier Ethernet switches. Engineers can download the PRVT-PROTO-PRIORITY-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
