mplsTunnelOmitEROIfOneHop

Module: PRVT-MPLS-TE-MIB

OID (symbolic): PRVT-MPLS-TE-MIB::mplsTunnelOmitEROIfOneHop

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.738.1.6.5.2.1.2.1.54

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-create

Description: Indicates whether the explicit route object should be omitted from the Path message when the tunnel consists of just one loose hop.

Note that if mplsTunnelHopTableIndex is set to 0, the tunnel is routed to the address configured in mplsTunnelEgressLSRId. This avoids the need to configure a single loose hop containing the tunnel's destination address and setting this field to true.

What is mplsTunnelOmitEROIfOneHop?

A boolean indicating whether the explicit route object (ERO) should be omitted from the outgoing Path message when the tunnel consists of a single loose hop. Setting mplsTunnelHopTableIndex to 0 instead routes the tunnel directly to mplsTunnelEgressLSRId, which is usually simpler than configuring a single-hop ERO and setting this flag.
