vdslLineConfPhysVdslPboPsdUpForceElectricalLength

Module: PEA-VDSL-IPDSLAM

OID (symbolic): PEA-VDSL-IPDSLAM::vdslLineConfPhysVdslPboPsdUpForceElectricalLength

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.193.72.300.80.1.7.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: If set, this electrical length (unit in 0.1 dB) will be enforced by the CO on the CPE, resulting in a predefined US PBO. If !=0, enforce US PBO corresponding to a line whose attenuation at 1MHz equals this number. Valid range [0,127] dB. A negative value of -1 mean: don't force the electrical length, but use the measured value instead. G.997.1 name: UPBOKL. G.997.1 name: UPBOKLF.

What is vdslLineConfPhysVdslPboPsdUpForceElectricalLength?

Forces the CO to assume a specific electrical line length (in 0.1 dB steps, valid range 0-127 dB) when computing upstream power back-off for the CPE, instead of using the measured value. A value of -1 disables the override and reverts to the measured electrical length; this corresponds to G.997.1's UPBOKL/UPBOKLF parameters.
