miscVdslConfForceElectricalLength

Module: PEA-VDSL-IPDSLAM

OID (symbolic): PEA-VDSL-IPDSLAM::miscVdslConfForceElectricalLength

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.193.72.300.80.1.8.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: If set, this electrical length (unit in 0.1 dB) will be enforced by the CO on the CPE, resulting in a predefined US PBO. If !=0, enforce US PBO corresponding to a line whose attenuation at 1MHz equals this number. Valid range [0,127] dB. A negative value of -1 mean: don't force the electrical length, but use the measured value instead, to be sent in O-UPDATE Substituted by: vdslLineConfPhysVdslPboPsdUpForceElectricalLength. Obsoleted from: EDA 4.0

What is miscVdslConfForceElectricalLength?

Obsolete duplicate of the upstream electrical-length override, superseded by vdslLineConfPhysVdslPboPsdUpForceElectricalLength as of EDA 4.0. It forced a specific electrical line length (0.1 dB steps, -1 to disable) for upstream power back-off; new configurations should use the replacement object instead.
