What is devSonetIfIndex?
This is the index value that uniquely identifies which SONET interface this row of test-related configuration applies to, and it corresponds directly to the same interface's ifIndex value in the standard Interfaces MIB (RFC 1213). Administrators use it to cross-reference SONET-specific test settings with the same physical interface's general statistics and status in the standard interfaces table. For example, a value of 3 lets an admin match this SONET test configuration row to ifIndex 3 in the interfaces table to see that port's overall traffic counters.
