Category: CPE/Router

Description: Manages SNMP agent configuration including community strings and trap destinations on OneAccess CPE routers.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ONEACCESS-SNMP-CONFIG-MIB?

ONEACCESS-SNMP-CONFIG-MIB is a OneAccess (WAN router vendor, later Ekinops) proprietary MIB configuring the SNMP agent itself. Its objects cover SNMP/trap source interface, a short interface-description flag, chassis ID, max message size, a community-configuration table (string, access type, ACL type/name, SNMPv2 group name, encrypted flag, row status), engine ID, remote-agent IP, a remote-engine-ID table (engine ID, IP address, max message size, row status), and a trap-configuration table (type). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm SNMP community/ACL restrictions and trap configuration on a OneAccess router. It is deployed on OneAccess (Ekinops) WAN routers. Engineers can download the ONEACCESS-SNMP-CONFIG-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ONEACCESS-SNMP-CONFIG-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • OneAccess (Ekinops) WAN routers

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks oacSnmpCommunityAclName to confirm SNMP access-control restrictions on a OneAccess router.
