drt4xvalueLaserPowerMonitor

Module: OMNI-gx2drt4x-MIB

OID (symbolic): OMNI-gx2drt4x-MIB::drt4xvalueLaserPowerMonitor

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.25.2.1.52

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Float

Access: read-only

Description: The value of this object provides the Current value of the trip point level Analog parameter. The trip point level set the custumer preferred optical input level. When trip point mode is ALARM_SWITCH, when optical power level is lower than trip point level (Set by this parameter), trip point alarm will be generated and RF output impedance will be changed to high impedance as >8.2K. This trip point level value is a floating point number that is represented as an IEEE 32 bit number.

What is drt4xvalueLaserPowerMonitor?

This is the current live reading for optical input trip point, stored as an IEEE 32-bit floating point number. Despite the object's LaserPowerMonitor name, the MIB's own description says this is a customer-set optical input trip point: once the incoming optical power drops below this level in ALARM_SWITCH mode, the module raises a trip-point alarm and forces the RF output to a high impedance (over 8.2K ohms) rather than passing a degraded signal. It is read-only over SNMP, so it can only be observed, not changed, through this object.
