rx4valueSwModeThresholdThree

Module: OMNI-gx2Rx200BX4-MIB

OID (symbolic): OMNI-gx2Rx200BX4-MIB::rx4valueSwModeThresholdThree

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.29.3.2.60

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this object reflects the setting of the threshold at which the Optical Input Failed signal is sent. It is in 1 dB increments ranging from -2 to -17 dB. The user can enter a number from 0 to 15, where 0 = -2db and 15= -17db

What is rx4valueSwModeThresholdThree?

Sets the optical-level threshold for lane 3, as an integer from 0 to 15 in 1 dB steps (0 = -2 dBm, 15 = -17 dBm), below which the module declares an Optical Input Failed condition and, depending on rx4valueSwModeSettingSwModeThresholdThree, triggers the protection switch; raising the raw value moves the trip point to a lower (more negative) power level, tolerating a weaker signal before declaring failure.
