lmecurrentValueRelAttenSetting

Module: OMNI-gx2LME-MIB

OID (symbolic): OMNI-gx2LME-MIB::lmecurrentValueRelAttenSetting

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.27.2.1.30

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Float

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this object provides the Current value of the Attenuator Setting Analog parameter. This value is a floating point number that is represented as an IEEE 32 bit number.

What is lmecurrentValueRelAttenSetting?

Holds the current, live setpoint value (a 32-bit IEEE float) for the relative (variable) optical attenuator setting on the module. Unlike most of this MIB's monitored analog parameters, this one is read-write, so an admin writes a new value here to actively adjust the 'Attenuator Setting' setting on the module, rather than just reading a sensor value.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.27.2.1.30
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> OMNI-gx2LME-MIB::lmecurrentValueRelAttenSetting

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.27.2.1.30.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> OMNI-gx2LME-MIB::lmecurrentValueRelAttenSetting.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.6.1.2.27.2.1.30.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> lmecurrentValueRelAttenSetting.1
