mscVrIpNhrpOperationalState

Module: Nortel-MsCarrier-MscPassport-IpNhrpMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-MsCarrier-MscPassport-IpNhrpMIB::mscVrIpNhrpOperationalState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.36.2.1.100.6.19.13.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute indicates the OSI Operational State of the component.

The value enabled indicates that the component is available for operation. Note that if adminState is locked, it would still not be providing service.

The value disabled indicates that the component is not available for operation. For example, something is wrong with the component itself, or with another component on which this one depends. If the value is disabled, the usageState must be idle.

What is mscVrIpNhrpOperationalState?

Read-only OSI operational state showing whether the Nhrp component is actually able to operate: enabled(1) (available, though still gated by adminState) or disabled(0, default) (something is wrong with this component or a dependency). Admins check this when NHRP isn't working even though adminState looks fine, since a disabled operational state points to an underlying fault.
