Description: Sets configuration for the NMS Communications EPON EOC module, covering bandwidth and service parameters.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is NMS-EPON-EOC-CONF?

NMS-EPON-EOC-CONF is a proprietary MIB (built on NMS-SMI) configuring EOC (Ethernet-Over-Coax) TFTP firmware transfer and MAC black/white-list access control for an EPON access network. Its objects cover TFTP server IP address, source/destination file name, a TFTP operation action, and a black/white-list table (auth mode, MAC address, list operation). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm firmware-transfer settings and MAC-based access control for EOC devices on an EPON network. It is deployed on EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) equipment (EOC configuration). Engineers can download the NMS-EPON-EOC-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in NMS-EPON-EOC-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) equipment (EOC configuration)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks nmsEponEocBlackWhiteListTable to confirm which MAC addresses are permitted or blocked for EOC devices on an EPON network.
