Description:
Index into mplsXCTable which identifies which cross- connect entry this segment is part of. A value of the string containing the single octet 0x00 indicates that this entry is not referred to by any cross-connect entry. When a cross-connect entry is created which this out-segment is a part of, this object MUST be updated by the agent to reflect the value of mplsXCIndex of that cross-connect entry.
What is mplsOutSegmentXCIndex?
This read-only object contains the index of the MPLS cross-connect entry that owns this outgoing segment, or a zero octet string if the segment is not part of any active cross-connect. It links outgoing segments to their parent cross-connect entries for logical circuit management. Operators use this to trace the path of traffic through label-switched routers.
