Description:

The total number of octets received. This is the 64 bit version of mplsInSegmentPerfOctets, if mplsInSegmentPerfHCOctets is supported according to the rules spelled out in RFC2863.

What is mplsInSegmentPerfHCOctets?

This 64-bit counter tallies every byte received on an MPLS Label Switched Path entry point. The high-capacity version prevents overflow on fast links. A carrier's NOC uses this to track aggregate traffic volume traversing MPLS tunnels and bill customers accordingly.
