What Is MICOM-WAN-MIB?
MICOM-WAN-MIB is a Micom Communications proprietary MIB configuring WAN interfaces on Micom OSCAR-family equipment. Its WAN interface table, keyed by index, records interface type, operating mode, baud rate, maximum frame size, protocol type, control-line (e.g., DTR/RTS) state, and receive-buffer count. As a configuration/hardware-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm a WAN interface's baud rate and protocol type match the far-end device's configuration when diagnosing a serial-link synchronization problem. It is deployed on Micom OSCAR-family WAN access equipment. Engineers can download the MICOM-WAN-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in MICOM-WAN-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor.
