Description: This object returns the total number of ports in the repeater whose current state meets all three of the following criteria: rptrPortOperSTATUS does not have the value notPresent(3), rptrPortAdminSTATUS is enabled(1), and rptrPortAutoPartitionState is autoPartitioned(2).
What is rptrTotalPartitionedPorts?
Reports how many enabled, present ports on the repeater are currently auto-partitioned (electrically isolated due to excessive errors/collisions); a nonzero and climbing value is a quick signal that something on the segment -- a bad NIC, a loop, or a cabling fault -- is triggering partition protection.
