Description: MSH Repeater Cards have the ability to disable ports at power up or reset. Ports configured in this way are useful for configuring resilient links because they prevent loops in the network from occurring at startup. The disable on boot feature is determined according to a hardware strap which cannot be changed via software. This parameter is a mask containing a single bit for each port on the card. Port 1 is represented by bit 0 and so-on. If a bit representing a particular port is 0 this port boots up disabled. If the bit is a 1 the port boots up enabled.

This parameter allows the state of these parameters to be rapidly determined by a network management application.
