What Is Juniper-Policy-Manager-CONF?

Juniper-Policy-Manager-CONF is a Juniper Networks AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module that declares which parts of the Policy Manager MIB the SNMP agent on Juniper E-series edge routers actually implements. It does not itself define any runtime data objects; it is purely a conformance/compliance statement used by SNMP tools to determine feature support for the policy management framework. As such it is not used to monitor hardware or software runtime status directly, but rather serves as metadata that lets a manager application know whether a given Policy Manager MIB object is supported on a particular Juniper E-series device. It inherently depends on the separate Juniper Policy Manager MIB whose objects it describes conformance for. It is typically encountered during MIB compilation/compliance checking on Juniper E-series edge router deployments rather than during live polling. Engineers can download the Juniper-Policy-Manager-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
