What is ipMcastEnabled?

A simple on/off switch for IP multicast routing on this device; turning it off stops the router from forwarding multicast traffic entirely, so flip it on before configuring any interface- or route-level multicast settings.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.168.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IPMCAST-MIB::ipMcastEnabled

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.168.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IPMCAST-MIB::ipMcastEnabled.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
